GROUP PERSONAL ACCIDENT INSURANCE
This policy provides benefit for death and injuries sustained by any of your staff due to violent visible and external means. Benefits under this policy are as follows:
Death: Bodily injury that is within twelve calendar months from the occurrence of such accident shall solely and directly caused by death of the injured person. The amount of benefit payable under this policy is usually a fixed sum depending on the amount agreed before the commencement of the policy.
Permanent Total Disability: This is bodily injury, which within twelve calendar months from the occurrence thereof resulted in disability of the members as a result of an accidental occurrence arising during the period of insurance. The sum insured under permanent total disability is as the same benefit under death.
Temporary Total Disability: The bodily injury, which shall solely and directly prevent them member from attending to his job. Compensation under temporary total disability is limited to maximum of 104 weeks and the sum assured is weekly earning of the members.
Medical Expenses: This is the amount actually incurred as Medical Expenses as a result of an accident under the policy. The amount insured is to be determined by your Association and amount payable by the insurer will not exceed such selected limit in the event of an accident necessitation compensation to be paid under medical expenses. |
